"Shaping the Future of Healing: Innovation, Regeneration, and Collaboration"

Welcome

Wound care is advancing through scientific discovery, technological innovation, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The 18th International Wound Care & 2nd Tissue Bio-Engineering Conference explores how wound care is moving from traditional approaches towards personalised, evidence-based, technology-enabled and regenerative models of healing.

Together, we will look at how emerging science, new technologies, clinical expertise and collaboration can redefine wound management and improve outcomes for patients worldwide.

What the Conference Will Cover:

Exploring the Future of Wound Care
The programme spans wound prevention, assessment, diagnosis, treatment and long-term management. Topics include complex and chronic wounds, diabetic foot, pressure injury, infection management and tissue repair. The emphasis is on turning new discoveries into strategies that work in everyday clinical settings.

Advancing Precision in Wound Management
Precision wound care moves beyond a one-size-fits-all approach. It combines thorough assessment, risk identification and patient-specific treatment with evidence-based decisions. Sessions will look at biomarkers, imaging, digital tools, artificial intelligence and emerging diagnostics.

Regenerative Science & Tissue Bio-Engineering
The second Tissue Bio-Engineering conference goes further into regenerative medicine. Sessions cover biomaterials, cellular therapies, bioactive technologies, scaffolds and engineered tissues. The aim is to connect clinical practice, laboratory research, engineering and translational medicine.

Technology Transforming Wound Care
Digital health, telemedicine, AI, advanced imaging, smart wound technologies and remote monitoring are enabling earlier intervention and more efficient care. We will discuss how to bring them into practice responsibly, while keeping patient safety and human-centred care at the centre.

Patient-Centred & Integrated Care
Good wound care goes beyond wound closure. It means attending to pain, mobility, nutrition, psychological well-being, quality of life and each patient's own goals. The conference highlights shared decision-making, education and coordinated multidisciplinary care.

From Research to Real-World Practice
Discovery has the greatest impact when it reaches the patient. Researchers, clinicians, educators, healthcare leaders and industry partners will share evidence and discuss how to put emerging discoveries into everyday practice.

A Global Platform for Collaboration:

Wound care needs collaboration across disciplines and healthcare systems. The conference brings together wound care specialists, physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, researchers, educators, scientists, engineers, healthcare leaders and industry experts from around the world. Through scientific presentations, workshops, interactive discussions and networking, it creates space to share perspectives and build new partnerships.

On 17–18 April 2027, join the global wound care community to exchange knowledge, challenge conventional thinking, showcase innovation and build new pathways for the future. Through precision, regeneration, innovation and collaboration, we can help redefine what is possible in wound care and tissue healing.
