Thank you for your interest in the 9th International Interprofessional Wound Care Course & the 12th Annual Abu Dhabi Wound Care Conference Update, organized in collaboration with WoundPedia, Wounds Canada, and The Canadian Association for Enterostomal Therapy.
This 6-day event, which promotes continuous education with evidenced-based practice in providing facets of clinical, practical, and holistic patient care delivery at its best. This course aims to transform the wound care system through ideas of Innovation in Prevention, Treatment, Management, Education, Research & Professional Development across the world.
The International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC) is designed for wound care specialists with some wound care education and experience: physicians, nurses, and other health professionals in the wound care field. The IIWCC is a 12-month course, offered in partnership with the University of Toronto. The objective is to provide a comprehensive educational experience for wound care specialists and to translate new knowledge into practice and evaluation of the outcome.
In addition, this course provides an excellent directive for those seeking to enhance their practice by incorporating multifaceted inter-professional wound management interventions. Our Internationally recognized, inter-professional faculty will share their own experience in building multidisciplinary wound care teams, how to set up a wound care clinic, Developing Diabetic foot services, how can Education inform and change practice, prevention programs, and to stimulate new ideas for the most challenging wound related clients. This course has grown from region to the whole world and now will make a great change in Wound and skincare to establish guidelines, position, and consensus documents for future use.
